Something here that has me pondering the meaning and makeing me go HMMMMM. While driveing home tonight after picking up the daughter I spoted a baby crow in the road. I turned around to get a good look at him. He was standing there in the road crying out to his parents. They did not come until I was there. I tried giveing him a piece of hamburger bun. He didn't want that and started crying louder. Mamma and pappa started flying around and screaming so I picked up the little guy to get him out of the road. I wanted sooooooo bad to bring the guy home but I have 12 fur kids with claws and love the taste of meat. I would love to have this bird as it is one of my totem animals. So now I have to ponder. What is the meaning of finding holding and then releasing a totem? Anyone want to jump in on this? I will have to research the raven/crow connection. I know in the Celtic world it can signify a new begining or an end. I believe this may be a new begining due to the young age of this very beautiful bird. Now to see what the Godess and Gods bring from this.
More geneology digging
After taking a break because I was getting a headache. I decided to jump back into digging into my ancestry again. I had made a breakthrough on the Franklin side of the family. Finally!!! Ah but with this information comes a double family entry. On my paternal grandmothers side we are decended from the first King of England. This I had already known and posted before. Well I had been stuck on the Maternal side of the family for a few weeks. This being the Franklin side. Well I guess the goddess has been working overtime with this as well. I found that through marriage on this side that we also go back to King William the first of England. Hmmm. The royal bloodline is very thick in my viens. What does this all mean?? I knew there had been some royalty in me, but I never expected to find a common ancester on both sides of the family. Makes one ponder the significance. Also makes one want to go to England and claim birthrights as well. Being closely related to the Tudors might mean something, however I doubt it very much. It brings a bit of satisfaction to know ones history, but with it too I know that there could be inheritant dangers as well. There are also the questions within oneself. Have I lived up to the standards of my ancestors? Why have I come back to live the life of the common folk, barely getting by financially? Is this punishment for past transgressions by my ancestors? This all makes one ponder perhaps what had been done in my past life that would cause me to return years later. Living between the worlds. Wishing that We could afford everything, and knowing that I must work harder for it. Ah the joys of discovery, and forcing one to look within oneself for answers.
On another note. I have finally decided to have some ink forced into my skin and have comissioned Lisa aka skinwitch to do the work. She is working on the design after I found the proper dragon for what I want. It will be on my right arm. Going from shoulder to elbow with his tail going around my arm. Here is a picture I am planning the dragon around
Sneak attacks by wacko's.
Here it is a nice warm sunday morning. Having my coffee and getting awake before I have to go give boat handeling lessons. I started browsing through the Want ad section of our local newspaper, and here is one of the adds I read.
Want To Be A Counselor? We will train if you qualify. Attend a workshop Sat 7/07, 1-3pm. Hubbard Dianetics Fdn. New Haven
Now I have to wonder. Why would the scientologist need to post adds in the paper. Counselor my butt. This is a ploy to get you to spend money on the ways to get into heaven based upon a science fiction book written by Hubbard in the 1950's. Then getting a shot in the arm when the new book came out in 1978. Can we say crackpots that want to mix christianity with perhaps a bit of yoga and mysticism. It makes me wonder just what these people are truely thinking.
New species or product
Found this interesting oyster today. Has a clam shell on the back side and an oyster shell that you see. Now I pose this for your pondering. If it has a clam shell on one side and an oyster on the other, Then would one call it a cloyster? Just one of those things that make you go hmmmm.
